Middle School Band!
As you know Open House is coming up this Tuesday from 3-7 p.m., with a special 7th grade orientation at 4 p.m. But, we wanted you to be thinking about BAND before then! That's right. We're talking about trumpets, trombones, flutes, saxophones, clarinets, and percussion (yes, that includes drums!). And of course those instruments are a part of the marching band you so often see at football games and parades. But all of that starts by enrolling in band class now--in 7th grade...or 8th grade at the latest. We do NOT enroll new students in band in high school; so this is your chance! Think about it. Parents, talk with your students and bring questions to Open House, or if you KNOW right now this is for you, email our band director, Ms. Cox, at [email protected]. Trust us, band is a lot of fun, and it's the place to be if you have an interest in music. Don't miss out! Attached is our general info and questions sheet--see Ms. Cox at Open House for any other questions.
