There’s nothing like Falcon Pride! 💙💛

A huge shout-out to these two amazing Falcons for showing their school spirit with their custom PDILA yarn purses handmade by the talented aunt! We love seeing our students proudly represent the Nest in such a creative and unique way.

Keep soaring and showing that Falcon pride wherever you go! Wings Up! 🦅

A heartfelt thank you to our Vice Board Chair, Dr. Cheryl Hubbard George, for stopping by the Nest with a generous donation of school supplies! 💙💛

Your continued support, encouragement, and commitment to our Falcons mean so much to our students, staff, and families. We are grateful to have leaders who invest not only their time, but also their hearts into helping our school thrive.

Thank you, Dr. George, for helping us continue Serving Up Success. Your kindness and dedication make a lasting difference at the Nest! 🦅

Our 4th grade Falcons were all about Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind on Friday! 🎯

Through engaging activities and meaningful discussions, our students learned the importance of setting goals, making a plan, and thinking ahead before taking action. They discovered that successful leaders don’t just hope for success—they create a vision and work toward it one step at a time.

We can’t wait to see our 4th grade leaders continue to set their targets, track their progress, and soar to new heights this school year. At PDILA, we’re serving up success—one habit at a time! 💙💛

Our 2nd grade Falcons may be the newest members of the Nest, but they’ve been working hard all week to build a strong classroom community! 🦅💙

From practicing and agreeing on their morning routines to making commitments about how they will ask thoughtful questions, listen respectfully, and answer with confidence, our youngest Falcons are laying the foundation for a successful year.

A positive classroom culture doesn’t happen by chance—it happens through teamwork, consistency, and shared expectations. When students feel safe, valued, and heard, learning takes flight. Here’s to a year of growing together, leading together, and soaring together!

Our 3rd grade Falcons are building strong leadership skills one habit at a time! 🦅📚

This week, they reviewed Habit 1: Be Proactive through a read-aloud—learning how the words we choose can make all the difference. Together, they identified proactive language like, “I can do this,” “I’ll keep trying,” “I choose my attitude,” and “Let me find a solution.” They also recognized reactive language such as, “I can’t,” “It’s not my fault,” “I have to,” and “I give up.”

At PDILA, we’re helping our Falcons understand that leaders focus on what they can control. Every choice, every word, and every action is another opportunity to Be Proactive and soar!

Sometimes the best lessons come from the simplest activities!

As our 5th grade Falcons continued learning about Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind, they tackled a puzzle challenge. In round one, students had all the puzzle pieces—but no picture of what the finished puzzle was supposed to look like. It didn’t take long for them to realize how difficult it was to work toward a goal without a clear vision.

Then we gave them the puzzle box.

Suddenly, everything changed! With the end goal in mind, students were able to plan, communicate, and work together much more effectively.

Just like puzzles, success in school—and in life—starts with having a clear picture of where you’re going. Our Falcons are learning that when you begin with the end in mind, every step has purpose. Here’s to Serving Up Success, one habit at a time! 🧩🦅

Yesterday, our Falcons kicked off the school year by learning about Habit 1: Be Proactive—taking responsibility for their choices and actions.

Today, we dove into Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind! This habit teaches our students the importance of having a plan, setting goals, and thinking ahead before they begin a task.

Our 6th grade Falcons put this habit into action with a blind drawing partner challenge. One partner had to describe a picture while the other drew it without seeing the original. The activity quickly showed that without a clear vision, careful planning, and effective communication, reaching the desired outcome can be challenging.

What a fun way to learn an important life lesson! Our Falcons are already building the leadership skills they’ll use all year long as we continue Serving Up Success—because every family deserves a 5-star experience. Wings up! 🦅

Our Falcon Faculty had a great first day too! 💙💛🦅

What an awesome way to kick off the school year! Our teachers and staff poured their hearts into welcoming our Falcons, building relationships, and creating memorable first-day experiences. We couldn’t be more proud of this incredible team and all they accomplished today.

Now it’s time to get some well-deserved rest, recharge, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow. Here’s to another amazing day of learning, leadership, and serving up success!

See you in the morning, Falcon Family! Wings up! 🦅⭐
