More first week fun! Mrs. Browning's 2nd grade class tried to save Fred the worm from drowning. Students were given instructions to only use 4 paper clips to maneuver Fred (the gummy worm) back into his life saving device (a life saver gummy) after his boat (the cup) capsized. A fun way to use teamwork and critical thinking to bring an end to the first week of school.

First week fun!
The Wildcats in Mrs. K. Smith's 3rd grade class worked on team building.
Team Building Cup Pyramid Rules:
1: Only the rubberband can touch the cups.
2. Hands can only touch the strings attached to the rubberbands.
3. Only the 5th person can talk. Everyone holding a string is silent.
4. Cups need to be stacked into a pyramid pattern of 3, 2, 1.

Everyone did a great job and worked together well. This activity can be frustrating because they are so used to communicating through talking to each other.
