We wrapped up the week with some delicious meals at Riverside! 😋

Thursday brought yummy cinnamon rolls, followed by chicken Alfredo with garlic biscuits and cheeseburger baskets for lunch. Then we finished Friday with chicken wings and fries, along with plenty of fresh fruit and veggies! 🍗🍟🍉

There was even a special birthday dessert for Mr. Ziegler! 🎂

Thank you to our cafeteria crew for the hard work and care you put into feeding our students each day. We appreciate you!

🥚 Got Extra Eggs? Help Us Stock Our School Pantry! 🐔❤️

At Riverside, we are always looking for ways to better support our students and families. One of our goals with our school pantry is to provide more nutritious, protein-rich food options, and fresh eggs are a great way to do that!

If you have chickens that are laying more eggs than your family can use, we would greatly appreciate you considering donating those extras to our pantry. Fresh eggs can make a BIG difference for a family!

🏫 Eggs can be dropped off at Riverside High School. While the high school will serve as our collection point, donated eggs will be available to families in need throughout the entire Riverside School District.

Whether it is a dozen eggs or just a few extras, every donation helps us take care of Riverside families.

Our cafeteria has been serving up some great choices this week! 🍕🥟🥗

We started the week with Asian dumplings and fresh, homemade pizza. Students looking for something different could also choose one of our popular combo baskets. 🍟

Today’s menu featured chicken patties with some of the best mashed potatoes and gravy, along with our fresh fruit and vegetable bar. 🍉🍇🥕 We also introduced a new buffalo chicken grilled cheese, and it was a big hit! 🔥🥪

We appreciate our cafeteria staff and the work they put into providing our students with fresh food, plenty of variety, and new options to try! ❤️

🌅 Senior Sunrise 2026 🌅

Our seniors gathered on the baseball field this morning to enjoy breakfast and watch the sunrise together. Senior Sunrise has become a fun tradition at high schools across the country, giving the Class of 2027 a chance to begin their final year together.

We hope this is the start of a great senior year filled with memories they’ll carry with them long after graduation! ❤️🩶

Our students had a great time at the RHS Back to School Dance! 🎶🎧✨ It was a fun night filled with music, dancing, laughs, and plenty of time with friends! 😎🙌🥳

A BIG thank you to our RHS Cheerleaders 📣❤️ for hosting the dance and helping make the night such a success! 👏🎉 We appreciate everyone who helped make it a great night for our students!

It has been a fun and productive first week at Riverside High! We’ve enjoyed welcoming our students back and getting the 2026–2027 school year off to a great start.
