Day 3 Vocabulary Word Update from ANB’s STEM Summer Camp. Students have learned the following word/phrases) 1) S.T.E.M, 2) Foundation, 3) Blueprint, 4) Reverse Engineering, 5)Buoyancy, 6) Buoyant Force, and 7)Density.

Today was fun. Students started with paper that they used to draft boat designs and by the end of the day and several creations later, four (4) of the students successfully turned their creative designs into floating boats.

Tomorrow, we will determine which one was built the best by testing their creations in moving water and observing which one can carry the greatest weight of “toy items” as cargo.
