💙💛2026 SCC FFA Lytton Gala Days Meal💛💙

Planning to attend the annual Lytton Gala Days tomorrow? Make sure to stop by the Legion Hall for the annual SCC FFA pork loin meal paired with a bunch of tasty sides and cookies for dessert from 5:30 PM-8:00 PM!

The meal is a free-will donation with the proceeds going towards the continued renovation of the welding booths in the high school shop!

This year will feature a silent auction as well, with various hand-made items, including a toy barn built by a local FFA supporter, a co****le board set built by students, and raised cedar garden beds (4'x4' and 4'x2' sizes) built by students in Ms. Bush's Intro to Skilled Trades course. Make sure to stop and take a look!

💙💛May FFA Meeting PSA!💛💙

Tonight's FFA meeting will be rescheduled due to the school cancellation and the forecast for severe weather tonight! We'll announce the new meeting time once the officer team and Ms. Bush find a time that works on the school calendar.

💙💛2026 Drive Your Tractor/Truck to School Day💛💙

On Wednesday, May 6th, SCC FFA members and students held the annual Drive Your Tractor/Truck to School Day! We filled the parking lot with all shades of blue, green, and red and had a record number of students participate this year.

Every year, this is one of our students’ favorite days and we love seeing how much agriculture impacts our community! Congratulations to all of the students that won an award this year!

Thank you to all of the community members and parents that helped make it possible for our students to be out on the roads! This would not be possible without all that everyone does!

SCC FFA members and students, you are invited to join us for the annual Drive Your Tractor/Truck to School Day on Wednesday, May 6th! 🚜

Everyone participating will park in the northwest corner of the Junior/Senior parking lot. If you would like to be entered into the judging for prizes, please be parked by 7:45 AM on Wednesday morning!

Community members, please help us keep our students safe on the roads and allow extra time for students to arrive in their tractors and trucks! Thank you for all your support on one of our favorite days of the year!

*If the weather does not permit, the rain date will be Wednesday, May 16th. In the event we need to reschedule, messages will be sent out early Wednesday morning!

💙💛2026 Annual SCC FFA Plant Sale💛💙

Spring is in the air, and it's thyme for our annual Greenhouse Plant Sale!

Join us on May 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th at the ag greenhouse on the east side of the HS Ag Building to grab some beautiful plants and support the SCC FFA and Ag Ed programs! We will have a variety of flowers, succulents, and hanging baskets ready to brighten up your home or garden. 🌷

💙💛98th Annual Iowa FFA Leadership Conference Day 2💛💙

Tuesday of State Convention was busy for our FFA members! From competitions to sessions to the Career Fair/Vendor Show to dancing the night away at the FFA Fun Night, our schedule was jam-packed!

🥉Our Parliamentary Procedure team competed and was awarded a Bronze rating!

🏅Our Creed Speaker, Declan Spencer, competed and was awarded a Gold rating! All Gold ratings were announced on stage at the 2nd General Session!

🎶Kylee Buschmann and Lillie Spencer participated in the annual state chorus picture and practice to prepare for performing on Tuesday!

🥁Brandan Best and Trendon Daniel participated in the annual state band picture and practice to prepare for performing on Tuesday!

⭐️Tristin Gorden served on the Courtesy Corps and helped get members to their competitions on time!

🕺🏼A group of brave FFA members helped Mr. Lantz lead the FFA Dance at the Talent Show!

Our members wrapped up the night with a team BBQ meal and had fun at the FFA Fun Night meeting other FFA members, dancing, bowling, and playing other games!

Congratulations to all of our members who participated in events on Monday at Convention!
