The 97th annual Florida FFA State Convention & Expo is adjourned. All 5 LCMS FFA chapter officers have unzipped their jackets for the final time for the 2024-2025 year and are on their way home from Orlando. That’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year and we look forward to a new year! 💙💛

Today, at State Convention Day 4, Savannah Douglas was recognized on stage for her 5th place in Ornamental Horticulture Demonstration, Middle School Division, Consumer Use Category. We are so proud of Savannah and all of her efforts! 🤩

This evening, we were by helping the Columbia County Farm Bureau host their annual Officials Dinner. We are thankful for our continued partnership with the farm bureau, county leaders, and public officials.

Vice President, Savannah Douglas, and Secretary, Ella Norris, spent all day in Mr. Karlton’s 7th grade agriculture classes teaching the students how to rope. Today prepared them for Ag Olympics next week and we cannot wait!

Our dedicated member, Payton Merritt, became interested in floriculture and floral design after competing in the Floriculture CDE this year. Mrs. Renae and Mrs. Mae of the Lake City Florist invite Payton to the florist shop to help them before holidays, which entails preparing flowers, cleaning and organizing to gain experience to take with her for her future. What an amazing opportunity, all due to being introduced to an FFA Contest! 🌷
