Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the Calm and Kind Parental Involvement Workshop! We loved strengthening the student-parent connection and fostering positive relationships together. Your involvement makes a difference!

We are closely monitoring the weather for the coming days here in Southwest Louisiana. District leaders participated in a call this evening with the National Weather Service, and we will continue to do so as this storm system develops. We will provide an update to our families tomorrow following additional briefings with the National Weather Service and area emergency officials. Stay tuned in the coming days as we will communicate necessary information via our normal channels including phone calls, social media postings, and local media agencies.

Students bring ‘A Whole New World’ to LaGrange High with ‘Aladdin Jr.’ production Lake Area high school students are bringing a beloved folktale to life for two “Arabian Nights” at LaGrange High School.

Calcasieu Theatrical Arts students are preparing for their return to the stage for this year’s production of Disney’s Descendants, the musical. Based on the Disney Channel original movie, the production is a musical comedy that features the offspring of Disney’s evil villains attending school with the children of their enemies. The story showcases a chance at redemption for the villains’ descendants, and the production will feature hit songs from the popular films. Show time details are included below with separate links to purchase tickets online. All tickets are $10. Field trip performances for area schools will be held April 3-6.
