Students in Ms. Guillory’s Social Studies class kicked off the year by discovering that history isn’t just in textbooks—they are a part of it, too! 💚
Students used symbols to represent their geography, culture, personal history, core values, and future goals, then explained how each has shaped who they are today.
A fun way to learn about one another while thinking like historians! 📚✨ History is everywhere—and we are all a part of the story! 🫶🏽

Our 8th grade ELA students put their Kagan strategies into action! 📚✨ Using a Placemat Consensus, students collaborated to identify and gather evidence of a common theme across three texts from their current unit. Great teamwork, discussion, and critical thinking in action! 👏

Help Us Stock Our PBIS Store!

We’re asking our families, community members, and local businesses to help us stock our PBIS Store with rewards our middle school students will be excited to earn!

Students earn PBIS points throughout the school day for positive behavior, responsibility, and making good choices, then use those points to shop in our store.

We welcome donations of new, middle-school-friendly items, such as candy/snacks, fun school supplies, fidgets, games, sports items, accessories, plastic water bottles, earbuds, small electronics, gift cards, or larger prizes. Local businesses can also donate gift cards, merchandise, coupons, or other items.

No donation is too small! Every contribution helps us recognize our students and keep them motivated to make positive choices.

Donations can be dropped off at F.K. White Middle School or we can make arrangements for a pick up. You can also contact [email protected] with any questions.
