For the past 10 years, our SWLA Safe Sleep Task Force family has had the honor of hosting the Stroll & Roll to raise awareness and funds to educate parents, grandparents, and caregivers about the importance of safe sleep practices.

After much thought and many conversations, we have made the difficult decision to bring the Stroll & Roll event to an end.

This is incredibly bittersweet for our family. We are sad to see something that has meant so much to us and to our community come to an end, but we are also incredibly grateful for everything the Stroll & Roll has accomplished over the past 10 years.

❤️ To everyone who walked, ran and rode with us.
❤️ To everyone who donated.
❤️ To the businesses and sponsors who supported us.
❤️ To the volunteers who gave their time and energy.
❤️ To the families who shared our mission.
❤️ And to every person who helped us spread the message of safe sleep.

THANK YOU. We could not have done this without you.

Although the Stroll & Roll is ending, our mission is not. We will continue providing safe sleep education and classes to parents, grandparents, caregivers, and anyone who cares for a baby. We believe education can save lives, and we are committed to continuing that work. (this years is cancelled).

If you would still like to support our cause or make a donation, you can do so through our website:

Our family loves this community more than words can express. We will always cherish the hard work, love, generosity, and dedication that so many people have given to this cause over the years.

And most importantly, Kaden’s story will always be told. ❤️

What began from an unimaginable loss has become a mission that has touched and helped so many families. Knowing that Kaden’s story has helped educate others and potentially save precious lives is something our family will carry with us forever.

Thank you, SWLA, for standing beside us for the past 10 years. Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for remembering Kaden.

The Stroll & Roll may be coming to an end, but Kaden’s story and our mission to educate families about safe sleep will continue.

With all our love and gratitude,

The Kaden’s Safe Sleep / SWLA Safe Sleep Task Force Family ❤️

Stay tuned for an exciting announcement about our NEW fundraising event for Safe Sleep! We can’t wait to share what’s next!

💤 SAFE SLEEP MONDAY: “IT’S JUST FOR A FEW MINUTES…”

It’s easy to think:
“They’re only going to sleep for a few minutes.”
“I’m right here watching them.”
“They finally fell asleep — I don’t want to wake them.”

But unsafe sleep doesn’t become safe because the nap is short.
If your baby falls asleep on a couch, recliner, adult bed, swing, or other surface not designed for safe sleep, move them to a safe sleep space as soon as possible.

And remember — a baby’s sleep space should stay clear of:
🚫 Pillows
🚫 Loose blankets
🚫 Stuffed animals
🚫 Positioners
🚫 Bumpers

💙 Safe sleep matters for EVERY sleep — even the unexpected ones.

💙 Tips Tuesday: Safe Sleep Saves Lives

Co-sleeping may feel comforting, but sharing a bed, couch, or chair with a baby can increase the risk of suffocation and sleep-related infant death.

Every sleep. Every time.

🍼 MYTH MONDAY 🍼

❌ Myth: “My baby sleeps better on their stomach.”

✅ Fact: Babies should always be placed on their back for every sleep, naps and nighttime.

Sleeping on their back is the safest sleep position and helps reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.

Remember the ABCs of Safe Sleep:
💙 A – Alone
💗 B – Back
💚 C – Crib

Share this post to help us spread safe sleep awareness and protect our little ones. 💙

💗 The ABC’s of Safe Sleep! 💗

🩷 A – Alone: Your baby should sleep alone, without blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or bumpers.
💙 B – Back: Always place your baby on their back for every sleep…naps and nighttime.
💛 C – Crib: Use a firm, flat sleep surface like a safety approved crib, bassinet, or play yard.

These three simple steps can save lives.

Help us spread the message across Southwest Louisiana by sharing this post with parents, grandparents, babysitters, and anyone caring for an infant. Together, we can make safe sleep the standard…not the exception.

💗 Alone. On their Back. In a Crib.
Because every baby deserves a safe start. 💙
