📣 HOCA Uniform Swap & Free Shop Day – Just Two Weeks Away! 💙🌳

As you clean out closets and prepare for the upcoming school year, don’t forget that we are currently accepting donations of gently used HOCA uniforms!

👕 Uniform Donation Drop-offs:
June 15th-June 26th
Donations may be dropped off at the school anytime over the next two weeks.

HOCA Free Uniform Shop Day
📅 Saturday, June 27th
Families will have the opportunity to browse and take any donated uniforms at no cost.

We will also have:

✅ FREE HOCA yard signs available
✅ FREE HOCA car decals available

Whether you’re donating, shopping, or just stopping by to pick up a yard sign, we hope you’ll join us!

We are excited to announce that Ms. Kristin will be joining HOCA as our new Pre-K3 Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!

Ms. Kristin recently graduated from McNeese State University and brings a heart for children, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping young learners grow and thrive in a Christ-centered environment.

At Heritage Oaks, we believe God has a purpose for every member of our school family, and we are grateful He has led Ms. Kristin to HOCA. We know she will be a wonderful blessing to our students and families, and we look forward to all that God has in store for her classroom this year.

Benny the Bluejay made an unexpected visit!

This little fledgling is still learning to fly and explore the world around him. Just like our students, he’s growing a little stronger each day.

We carefully gave him space and watched from a distance while his family kept an eye on him nearby.

We are excited to announce that Mrs. Camila will be joining HOCA for the 2026–2027 school year as our new Spanish Enrichment Teacher!

Mrs. Camila brings experience teaching both Kindergarten and First Grade, along with a passion for helping young children learn and grow through language. As a bilingual educator, she is excited to share her love of Spanish language and culture with our students while helping them build confidence and curiosity through learning.

Beginning this school year, all Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will participate in Spanish enrichment classes utilizing the Abeka Elementary Spanish curriculum.

At Heritage Oaks, we believe learning should inspire curiosity and open doors to new opportunities. We are excited to expand our enrichment offerings and provide our students with an introduction to a second language at an early age.
