Our third and final core value is Truth. Truth means being authentic, honest, and trustworthy in our words and actions. Through this value, we build trust and strengthen the bonds of our sisterhood, creating a community where every member feels valued, respected, and supported. “Growing up, I never imagined myself joining a sorority. My cousin was in a sorority during her time at McNeese, and after talking to the different tables at Cowboy Camp, I texted her to ask all about the recruitment process. I ended up signing up that very night. I instantly fell in love with Phi Mu on the very first night of recruitment. The genuine, easy-flowing conversations I had with the girls were so memorable and comforting during such a nerve-racking week. After leaving Phi Mu, all I could think about was how excited I was to come back. I made so many connections during the recruitment process and got to meet girls who I never would have guessed would play such a huge role in my college experience. These women, our philanthropy, and our values are things I hold so close to my heart. Through simply filling out the recruitment form, I met some of my best friends and favorite people. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t taken a chance on recruitment. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!”💝💝
