“Coming into college, I knew I wanted to find like-minded girls who were goal-driven and kind-hearted. I can confidently say that through this sisterhood, I have found those girls. I can go through difficult days knowing that, no matter what, I have genuine friendships that will support me through everything. We push each other to reach our goals. This place has allowed me to flourish and become the best version of myself. There is no place I’d rather be than Phi Mu!”

TO SERVE IN THE LIGHT OF TRUTH!!!🌟
Our third and final core value is Truth. Truth means being authentic, honest, and trustworthy in our words and actions. It encourages us to stay true to ourselves while supporting one another with kindness and honesty. Through truth, we build meaningful relationships rooted in trust, allowing our sisterhood to grow stronger and more connected. Living with truth means having the courage to do what is right, even when it is difficult, and striving to be the best version of ourselves every day!!💝💝

TO WALK IN THE WAY OF HONOR✨✨
Honor is Phi Mu’s second core value because it guides us to live with integrity, respect, and accountability in all that we do. Honor means staying true to our principles, treating others with kindness and fairness, and upholding the values of our sisterhood even when no one is watching. It also means showing up for one another no matter what! Through this value, we build trust and strengthen the bonds of our sisterhood, creating a community where every member feels valued, respected, and supported. Honor encourages us to lead by example, make thoughtful decisions, and represent Phi Mu with pride both within our chapter and beyond!!

THUS KEEPING TRUE TO THE WOMANHOOD OF LOVE 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Love is the foundation of Phi Mu and the value that brings our sisterhood together! Love is shown through the friendships we build, the encouragement we give one another during challenges, and the way we celebrate each other’s successes. This value strengthens our bond as sisters and reminds us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves!! 🫶🏼

“Growing up, I never imagined myself joining a sorority. My cousin was in a sorority during her time at McNeese, and after talking to the different tables at Cowboy Camp, I texted her to ask all about the recruitment process. I ended up signing up that very night. I instantly fell in love with Phi Mu on the very first night of recruitment. The genuine, easy-flowing conversations I had with the girls were so memorable and comforting during such a nerve-racking week. After leaving Phi Mu, all I could think about was how excited I was to come back. I made so many connections during the recruitment process and got to meet girls who I never would have guessed would play such a huge role in my college experience. These women, our philanthropy, and our values are things I hold so close to my heart. Through simply filling out the recruitment form, I met some of my best friends and favorite people. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t taken a chance on recruitment. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!”💝💝

“I chose Phi Mu because it is a sisterhood that truly lives by its values of Love, Honor, and Truth. From day one, I felt the love from the girls—it wasn’t forced, just genuine care and support. Our value of honor means that we respect each other and stand by one another no matter what, creating a strong bond within our sisterhood. Truth is what makes everything feel authentic; we can be ourselves and share honestly without judgment. Whether we’re having fun, having deep conversations, or just hanging out, those values guide how we connect and grow together.
That’s why I love Phi Mu so much—it’s not just a group; it’s a family where those values actually mean something every day. Phi Mu is truly my favorite place to be, and I am honored to be a part of something so special! LIOB!”
