We had fun in the library for Read Across America week. The big kids tried to remember the names of 48 book characters, and the little kids enjoyed all things Seuss!

Kindergarten reading goal met! 36 books! Go, girl! She was so excited. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

I am so proud of this Kindergarten Cutie! She has read over SEVENTY-TWO books and AR tested on all of them. She's not stopping yet! She's currently working her way through all the First Grade books. ⭐️ Her future is so bright!!

This week in the PLE library, kids learned about the Arctic Tundra, the life of a polar bear, native Arctic animals, and the Northern Lights.
What color is a polar bear's fur? (trick question)

Next week we will learn all about the Arctic and enjoy a dazzling light show in the library.

I had an absolute blast with the Librarian of the Day raffle winner!! Mrs. Estelle LeDoux really has what it takes to run a library. She's a pro at processing books, checking reports, managing classes, maintaining the shelves, and reading to the kids. She was rocking that cardigan, and she even brought treats for her students. I might be out of a job. She's HIRED!!
