Meet Jakarta & Morgan! 💖 After catching one of our segments on KPLC, Jakarta felt the call to give back and mentoring turned out to be the perfect fit! She found her match in Morgan, an energetic Little who already has Jakarta cheering her on at swim competitions and gymnastics meets. 🏊‍♀️🤸‍♀️ From nail salon days to park hangouts and community events, these two are already two peas in a pod and have so many adventures ahead! Welcome to the BBBS family, Jakarta & Morgan we can't wait to watch you grow together! 💙

Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much possibility still lies ahead. At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana, we stand for equity, empowerment, and opportunity for every child. Our office will be closed Friday, June 19th as we honor this day of freedom.

This gloomy weather has us reminiscing about sunshine, big smiles, and summer fun; like the day we took some of our Littles out to a Gumbeaux Gators game!🐊⚾️

From cheering in the stands to even getting eye level with a baby gator, that day created summer memories to last forever.
