On Monday, we were honored to recognize two College of Business students at the Outstanding Graduate Awards Ceremony.✨🎓

The Outstanding Graduate Awards recognize the top undergraduate and graduate student from each of McNeese’s five colleges. Recipients represent the top one percent of graduates each semester and are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, service, and the spirit of McNeese.

Darcy is an MBA candidate from Roanoke currently working as a Process Engineer with Phillips 66, while Isabella is an Accounting major from Lake Charles pursuing a career in public accounting and CPA licensure.

We are so proud of both of these students and all they have accomplished during their time at McNeese. Their future is bright!🎓

This morning, we had the opportunity to visit with some of the members of the FBLA Chapter at Barbe High School FBLA and share more about the McNeese College of Business.

We always enjoy connecting with prospective students, talking about future opportunities, and giving them a glimpse into what life at McNeese State University and the College of Business looks like. A special thank you to Mr. Deacon Richard, a proud College of Business alumnus, for inviting us to speak with his students this morning. We loved getting to spend the morning with such a great group of students! 🤠

Last week, the McNeese College of Business proudly recognized outstanding students, student leaders, faculty, and staff during our Spring 2026 College of Business Awards Ceremony and Beta Gamma Sigma Induction.

We were honored to induct a new class of students into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society that recognizes the top students at AACSB-accredited business schools around the world.

The ceremony also celebrated recipients of the Jeff and Rhonda Lee Miller Distinguished Student Awards, honoring exceptional achievement across our business disciplines, along with our Overall Outstanding Undergraduate and MBA Graduate.

We also recognized graduating seniors from several of our student organizations, including Delta Sigma Pi, Marketing Club, McNeese Society for Human Resources (SHRM), and our LNG Business Certificate graduates.

The event also included recognition of outstanding faculty and staff whose dedication continues to make a lasting impact on our students and the College of Business community.

Congratulations to all of this year's honorees. Your leadership, hard work, and commitment to excellence continue to make the College of Business proud, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next!
