Please be aware that new laws are in effect regarding the possession of ma*****na on school campuses, school zones, or school buses. Please review the updates below.

LDOE Superintendent Cade Brumley is asking school districts to share information regarding a recent law change with families. The graphic explains a change in Louisiana law regarding posession of ma*****na on school property, which includes during athletic events. These penalties are applicable for ma*****na possession on school campuses, school buses, and within school zones.

LaGrange is so proud of our newest Future Christian Athletes! Students from Football, Basketball, Dance Team, Theater, Lady Gator Volleyball, Basketball, & Softball represented The Swamp at the annual FCA training at Trinity Baptist Church today. They participated in team building exercises, learned how to lead FCA meetings, met other students on the same mission, and committed to making our FCA program something to remember. Go Gators!

The University Program would like to congratulate their Advanced Placement students on passing their 2026 National AP Exams! AP Language & Composition and AP Psychology were among some of the tests taken. Students who passed these exams are on track & prepared for college material. Students Joshua Chiruguru & Dylan Kilmer received college credit for their high score. We are proud of you!

The CPSB University Program would like to congratulate their University Students of the Month! These students, part of LaGrange High School & Washington Marion High School, were nominated and chosen by University Program teachers that are thriving academically & in the community. They maintain some of the highest GPAs in the program and are involved in multiple clubs, sports, community projects, etc.

Student Health Services Available on the LaGrange Campus!

We are excited to remind our LaGrange families that students have access to an on-campus health clinic through the SWLA Center for Health Services School-Based Clinic Program!

Our clinic has a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) available to provide convenient healthcare services for students right here at school, including:
🩺 Well visits�🤒 Sick visits�🏃‍♀️ Sports physicals�💬 Behavioral and mental health services with a social worker
The clinic does file with insurance, but NO copays are collected from students for clinic services.

🦷 Dental Services, Too!�A dental bus will also visit the LaGrange campus several times throughout the school year to provide dental cleanings for students.

✅ IMPORTANT: Students must have a completed consent form on file before they can receive services through the school-based clinic.
Having these services available on campus helps make quality healthcare more accessible and convenient for our students and families while helping students stay healthy, in school, and ready to learn!

A huge thank you to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for taking the time to visit LaGrange High School and speak with our 11th and 12th grade students! We are grateful for the opportunity for our students to hear about leadership, teamwork, dedication, scholarship, and the incredible work of the Blue Angels. What an awesome experience for our Gators!
