Advanced Vibration Analysis - ISO CAT III

Course Description:
Students who successfully complete the Advanced Applied Vibration Analysis course will be able to compute statistical alarms, interpret Lissajous Orbits, and apply advanced FFT techniques (i.e. Synchronous Time Averaging, Order Tracking and Demodulation) and time domain analysis on a variety of machine assemblies. This class is intended for maintenance technicians and engineers who want an advanced course in vibration analysis.
The course follows Category III Guidelines Established by ISO 18436-2, "Condition monitoring and diagnostics of machine - Requirements for training and certification of personnel - Part 2: Vibration condition monitoring and diagnostics"

Course Description:
In this hands-on dynamic balancing course, the students will learn how to properly identify and diagnose unbalance as well as perform single and two plane field balancing. Attendees will diagnose unbalance using phase analysis coupled with traditional spectral analysis and will learn the single plane vector method in order to understand the balancing procedure. Tips and tricks from years of experience are shared with students throughout the course to ensure they can successfully perform dynamic balancing in the field.
