I have been meditating again on Luke 7:36-50 recently, remembering how the sinful woman received and welcomed Jesus. It is easy to welcome the innocent sweet Christ Child of Christmas, but a bit harder welcoming the radical table-turning, offer-the-other-cheek preaching, love-your-enemies-&-welcome-the-untouchables Jesus of Easter. When we follow and welcome as he did, we welcome Christ Himself. Will we be the ones who Love Much?

I've kept this page up even though the business has been closed now for almost two years mostly so the pictures of everyone's artwork will remain! I'm sad to inform you that the negotiations for selling my business fell through again. I will be packing up and moving everything to West Monroe on Monday. TOMORROW is the absolute last day to pick up any artwork. If any of you would like to help me pack, I'd welcome the help!

Just in case you are wondering...I am still in the process of selling the business. It looks unlikely that classes will begin by the 20th as previously scheduled, but should start up early February. Keep checking back over the next few days though.

The New Year will bring a new owner to the Red Beret Art Studio!

Good News! I have a handful of people interested in buying the business! You may have art classes starting back up in late January after all! Prayers appreciated. Monday and Tuesday are great days to come pick up your artwork if you've left some behind.
