The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative invites you to a fun, creative morning at Art in the Park on:

Bring the whole family out for a free community event filled with:

All easels, art supplies, and instruction are provided at no cost. Refreshments will also be available.

Get ready to roll into summer at our Hawaiian Summer Skate Bash on Tuesday, June 23, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Charles Event Center's Sudduth Coliseum!

Throw on your favorite Hawaiian shirt, tropical attire, or island-inspired outfit and hit the floor for a fun-filled evening of skating and great music provided by KBYS. Whether you're rocking roller skates or rollerblades, this is the perfect way to kick off summer with family and friends.

🛼 Bring your own skates or rollerblades (skates will not be provided)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children ages 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult

It's week two of Calcasieu Reads! Each week we'll share a question to discuss as students read this summer, and we encourage you to share this experience with us!

This week, we challenge our students grab a snack to enjoy during their reading time. Whether it's cooking up some green eggs and ham to enjoy with Dr. Seuss or just grabbing a favorite snack, show us!
