Ready to pass the HiSET test and move forward with your education, career, and life goals?
The Literacy Council of Southwest Louisiana is offering an exciting opportunity for adult learners through our Online HiSET Fast Track Program!
What is HiSET Fast Track?
Our Fast Track Program is an accelerated 5-Day online preparation course designed to help eligible students review key academic subjects and strengthen test-taking skills before taking the HiSET exam.

COHORT 1 LOADING!
We are excited to announce that the Literacy Council of Southwest Louisiana was selected as one of only 25 adult education programs nationwide to receive funding for construction education training through a partnership involving COABE, NCCER, and Loweโs Foundation.
This opportunity will allow us to expand workforce training, provide industry-recognized credentials, and connect adult learners with pathways to high-demand careers in the construction industry.
Through this initiative, participants will gain valuable hands-on skills, earn certifications, and prepare for employment opportunities that strengthen both their futures and our local workforce.
We are honored to be part of this national cohort and look forward to working with Cohort 1 in Lake Charles!
