Congratulations to the Spring 2026 Outstanding Graduates from the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Victoria Lantz, BSN will receive her MSN with a concentration as FNP and Shaun-Lee Peynado will receive her BSN on Friday. Both were chosen by the faculty in their respective programs and then confirmed by a committee of faculty representing the whole college as the MOST Outstanding Students in our college this semester. Go Pokes!

Today, our Undergraduate Nursing faculty were able to wrap up a wonderful week celebrating Nurse’s Week and Finals ending! They celebrated with a wonderful crawfish boil!

This would not have been possible without Carlyss Boil & Go and Lake Charles District Nurses Association ! A BIG thank you to them!

The crawfish were amazing!!

None of these events and celebrations could be done without the graciousness of our local restaurants and businesses!

Each day, we felt the love and support of our community!
