I'm excited to announce our new campus minister.....Michael DesOrmeaux! He's ready to hit the ground running! He's a graduate of St. Louis High School and got his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from St. Ben's and studied in Rome this past year. He brings with him good knowledge in philosophy and theology and is excited to help Cowboy Catholics thrive! He has great ideas and is looking forward to this new adventure!! 🙏

Another spotlight featuring a SAINT who stayed HOME 🏠 🧡💙

🎨 The ✨Spotlight✨ is forever on Mr. Austin, but social media just makes it official.

Some teachers color inside the lines… Mr. Austin prefers to inspire students to think outside them.

A proud SLCHS alumnus from the Class of 1990, Mr. Austin has spent 21 years helping SAINTS discover creativity and confidence!!

☕ Favorite Fuel: If it serves coffee, he’s probably a fan. He was asked where his favorite coffee shop was and he replied, “ALL.”

🖥️ New Lou Wishlist: A short-throw projector tops the list, with a set of excellent speakers coming in a very close second. Great art deserves great visuals and a great soundtrack.

🥞 Favorite Way to Connect: Late start breakfasts with fellow teachers.

😇 What He Loves Most About SLCHS:
“When folks have no history with SL and they enter and kick themselves for not coming over sooner.”

The ✨SAINTS SPOTLIGHT✨ is on Coach Bud, SLCHS 2020. 💪🏽

When asked what he wants most for his new classroom, Coach Bud’s answer was simple and meaningful: Jesus. His second wish is to create a comfortable and safe space where every student feels welcome and supported.

Need to brighten his day? Bring him a Strawberry-Banana Shake from Sonic! 🍓🍌🥤

His favorite way to connect with fellow faculty is a late-start breakfast… good food and great conversation make a winning combination! 🍽️

What Coach Bud loves most about St. Louis Catholic High School is the faith-filled community we share:

Congratulations to His Excellency Auxiliary Bishop Boxie, SLCHS 1998 🧡💙

Robert Boxie III has been consecrated as Auxiliary Bishop of Washington, becoming the youngest Catholic prelate in the U.S. and the entire Western Hemisphere.

The 45-year-old former Howard University chaplain is the first new African-American Catholic bishop in nearly a decade.
