Our Remedial Math Cohort for learners in grades 3rd - 5th begins Saturday November 8th 10 am -12 noon and continues every Saturdays until April 2026.
$25 per session ($100 per month)
Located at the former LCB Academy Room 316. (enter at the 7th street entrance.

Who Benefits from Remedial Math Classes?
Remedial math classes are designed for learners who need extra time, guidance, or support to master essential math concepts.

These students might:

* Have trouble with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division
* Feel anxious or discouraged during math lessons
* Perform below grade level on assessments
* Have missed important instruction because of school transitions or other difficulties

In many cases, the issue isn’t a lack of effort, it’s that the material wasn’t presented in a way that clicked for them.

To address this, remedial math programs often feature smaller class sizes and or more assistants, plenty of visual aids, and a slower, more supportive learning pace. The purpose is to ease frustration and help students rebuild their math confidence one skill at a time.

The holidays are wrapping up fast and students will be heading back to the classroom for the final 5 months of the school year!
Have your child ready for exams and state testing!
Tutoring sessions are $25 an hour (online or in person) and custom packages are also available for students needing full-time tutoring or exam prep.
I work with:
*Elementary grades in Reading, Science and Math.
*Grades 6 -12 Biology, General and Environmental Science
*College level introductory Biology and Anatomy & Physiology.

I offer exam prep for the Louisiana Leap 2025 and the State of Texas STAAR exam. As well as the SAT.
