Currently, we are looking for dedicated crew members to help our skippers race our Catalina 22s. A dedicated crew is essential in crossing the finish line first!. You will be able to crew on different boats at the club so you can learn the basics with different sailors. Crewing is free and of no charge to you of course. No experience is necessary, we would very much enjoy training you. No commitment is required and if at any time you feel that you are not enjoying the experience you would be free to opt out. We are motivated to help you learn because we want to advance the sport of sailing. We sail often during the winter and If you want to sail with us we can work together and develop sailing teams by the time the first sailing series starts in 2022. Besides racing in Lake Charles. We plan to travel to several races within our region in 2022.
Also, should you decide to one day buy your own Catalina 22, we will have boats in our fleet that are for sale, very reasonably priced and ready to be raced. If interested we will train you on that boat and make sure you are more than competent on your new boat. Our goal is to have more competition on the water and enjoying this great sport.
