🎃📚 It’s time to fall in love with literacy, Brave families! Pick a book to read together, then turn a small pumpkin into your child's favorite character for our annual Book Character Pumpkin Family Contest. Don't forget to include the book report summary sheet so your student is eligible for prizes! Pumpkins are due Wednesday, October 28, and all the details are on the flyer. We can't wait to see which characters come to life! 📚 🎃

Our first Braves for Christ meeting of the year was a great one! We loved seeing our Braves come together, connect with one another, and start the year off with such great motivation!

Our new 5th graders are excited for their chance to step up and lead! We’re excited to watch our students learn, grow, build friendships, and make memories each Wednesday. This is just the beginning of an awesome year!

💛🖤 At Combre-Fondel, we empower leaders… one teacher, one student, and one relationship at a time! 💛🖤

And THIS is what empowered student leadership looks like!

Our 5th grade leader stepped up and led his classmates through math because sometimes the best learning happens when students get the opportunity to lead one another!

And our baby girl?! While waiting for their turn to use the restroom, it was the perfect time to practice her blending skills with her friends…who were “whispering” the sounds right back!

These moments may seem small, but they are BIG evidence of leadership, confidence, collaboration, and learning in action!

We’re not just teaching students…we’re empowering them to lead. 💪🏽⭐

We are Combre, and we take that serious! 💛🖤

🚨 EXTENDED DAY — THIS IS THE LAST CALL!

Parents, WE HEAR YOU! 🙌🏽 You’ve been asking for Extended Day—and we WANT to make it happen! ❤️

BUT HERE’S THE REALITY… 👀

➡️ 80+ families expressed interest at the beginning of the year.
➡️ Information was sent out.
➡️ Only 7 families have completed the registration. 😳

The district requires AT LEAST 20 STUDENTS for us to open the program.

WE NEED 13 MORE! 📣

We know Extended Day can make a HUGE difference for our working parents and families. But we can’t start the program without the numbers!

⏰ DEADLINE: OCTOBER 2ND ⏰

💥 If you want Extended Day—NOW is the time to act!
💥 If you expressed interest but haven’t registered, PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION!
💥 Tell a friend. Share this post. Spread the word!

80+ said YES. We need 20 to say “I’M IN!”

Let’s get those numbers up and make Extended Day happen for our Brave Family! 💛🖤

📣 ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE TURNED IN BY OCTOBER 2ND!

This week has been BUSY at Combre-Fondel, and while we may be a little late with our post, we couldn’t let Sickle Cell Awareness pass without recognizing it!

Our Braves showed their support by wearing BURGUNDY to help raise awareness and stand in support of those affected by sickle cell disease.

Awareness. Education. Understanding. ❤️
Every step toward awareness makes a difference!

Thank you to our Braves for helping us spread the word and show that we care, we support, and we stand together!

❤️ Sickle Cell Awareness

💭✨ DREAM BIG, BRAVES! — RÊVEUR DREAM DAY! ✨💭

Today, the House of Rêveur reminded us that when you can DREAM it, you can BE it! 💜💛

Our Braves came to school dressed as what they want to be when they grow up, and WOW… the dreams were BIG! From SWAT team members 👮🏽‍♀️, teachers 🍎, volleyball players 🏐, doctors 🩺, veterinarians 🐾, and so much more, our hallways were filled with future leaders, changemakers, athletes, educators, and professionals!

The best part? Seeing our students proudly share their dreams and watching their imaginations come to life! 🌟

At Combre-Fondel, we don’t just teach students—we empower leaders to dream, believe, and achieve!

💭 Dream it. Believe it. Become it.
