A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible individuals and local businesses who stepped in with unexpected and generous donations for our students as we kick off the new school year.

Hope Combre, MaxLiving (Life by Design Chiropractic), All Saints Hospice, and the North Alliance Civic Organization, we appreciate you!!

Your generosity directly impacts our kids and sets them up for success from day one. We are so grateful to be surrounded by a community that loves, supports, and invests in our school!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Community Prayer Night! We were deeply moved as local pastors and leaders came together to lift up the community, praying over our families, schools, leadership, and future.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible vendors who made the night so special with amazing back to school items, giveaways, and even snow-cones.

This impactful event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of Ormise and Danielle Scott, who orchestrated this gathering for our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, prayed, and connected. With an afternoon dedicated to unity and community prayer, how could we not be ready for an amazing school year!

We love our ladies of the health center! They are an essential part of our Brave Family! The health center allows our students to remain on campus while receiving the care they need! Parents click the link below today to sign up!

As the school year approaches, it's important that students turn in their health center consents beforehand, so they can be seen as soon as the first week, says Family Nurse Practitioner Kemoshia Brandon. Kemoshia is part of our team at Combre-Fondel Elementary School, one of four CHRISTUS-sponsored school-based health centers serving students in the Lake Charles area. Whether it's acute or preventative care, chronic disease management, or point‑of‑care testing and treatment, we're here to provide convenient access to health services right on campus so students can stay in class, and parents can focus on work. With a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, department assistant and licensed professional counselor on staff, our Combre-Fondel team is helping over 300 students a year stay healthy and ready to learn.
