That’s our girl!

Congratulations to senior student, Kali Hudson, who has been accepted to McNeese State University where she will be a member of their cheerleading squad. She was awarded the University’s Scholars Award and a Scholarship for Cheerleading. She plans to pursue a career in nursing. Congratulations, Kali! We’re very proud of you!

Per CPSB, all high schools are required to provide 400 instructional minutes per school day. Thus, an adjustment is being made to the Barbe High School Bell Schedule that will take effect Monday, January 4, 2021.

Please note that the first bell of the day will ring at 7:35 a.m. (not 7:45 a.m.) and the last bell will ring at 3:18 p.m. (not 3:10 p.m.).

If you rely on school bus transportation, you need to be aware that your pick-up in the morning will be earlier than normal and your drop-off after school will be later than normal.

If you are a car-rider or drive to school, please adjust your schedule to arrive on campus accordingly to these bell adjustments.

We look forward to inviting our students back to campus on Monday, January 4.

Did you know that there’s a font designed specifically for dyslexic people to read easier. Every dyslexia case is unique, and this font acts as a learning tool to ease the brain. Definitely worth trying it out to see if it will work as a strategy.

You can install it on your tablets, laptops and browsers etc, so not only can you change things like documents into it, you can change websites into that font as well!
