Happy National Teach Ag Day! Please help us celebrate our agriculture teachers and FFA advisors: Mr. Scotty Poole and Ms. Bonnie McCallister.

Mr. Scotty Poole attended Grand Lake High School and was an FFA member from 1984-1989. During his time in FFA he held the position of President his junior and senior years. He has been teaching agriculture at Grand Lake for 23 years.

Ms. Bonnie McCallister attended Kelseyville High School in Northern California and was an FFA member from 2009-2013. During her time in FFA she raised and showed market steers, Hereford breeding beef, market lambs, market hogs and Hamp Cross breeding hogs. She competed in job interview, public speaking, and agricultural mechanics. She also held officer positions as an ASB Representative, Treasurer and President of her FFA chapter. Ms. Bonnie has been teaching agriculture for 7 years.

Both of our agriculture teachers have so much passion for what they do, and they have so much for Grand Lake High School.

Congratulations Cooper! We’re so proud of you!

Please share!

50 days until a group of our kids gets to experience this incredible convention! We still have a lot of work to do as far as raising money, but they have been working so hard to get here.

Please consider making a donation to our chapter, any amount helps! There’s a link to our Google Form with more information or reach out to Mr. Poole or Ms. McCallister if you’d like to make a donation! We would be so grateful.
