Grand Lake FFA presents your 2026-2027 Area III Vice President, Ty Duhon! Ty, you are the epitome of what it means to stay true to yourself, lead boldly and kindly, and show empathy to everyone you meet. How wonderful it is for Area III to have a leader who is selfless, genuine, and passionate. We love you Ty! Your journey is just beginning💙💛

What an incredibly memorable week we’ve had at the 97th Annual Louisiana FFA Convention. Here’s just a few of our highlights!

💡Briea, Emma, Aubree, Kyrah, Kiera, Lilian and Kannon attended their very first state convention as members!
💡Cooper and Kyrah served as voting delegates for our chapter
💡Ty served on the state nominating committee and was elected committee chair
💡Marie was awarded her State FFA Degree-Olivia accepted it on her behalf
💡Baileigh gave her retiring address and hung up her state jacket for the final time
💡The group went through a safari tour and got to feed all of the animals!
💡The group attended the dance, concert and fireworks on the river
💡Ty was elected as the 2026-2027 Area 3 Vice President

We have so much to be grateful for, but we’re most thankful for each other

What an absolute privilege and honor to have witnessed Baileigh’s year of service. You make Grand Lake so proud-and you’ve changed us not just for the better, but for good💛

Let's get ready. State Vice President, Baileigh Conner will give her retiring address today during session 3.

Ty, Olivia, Caden and Aubree traveled to Ruston to get additional training in the Area and State FFA nomination process. Although it wasn’t mandatory, they took the opportunity to get extra training, interview experience and networking opportunities. Great job to these kids!

And what’s a trip to Ruston without Texas Roadhouse and 7 Brew💁🏻‍♀️
