We were very fortunate to be able to hear a spectacular performance of Mozart’s Coronation Mass last night by McNeese Choirs and these wonderful soloists!

We are so proud of students Steele Koonce and Gabriel Sion on their wonderful Junior Recitals! Each recital was full of stunning, emotional moments, and they both have come a long way in the past three years. We are so lucky to have a large voice studio full of supportive artists!

Looking forward to Ciara Harvey’s Junior Recital on May 7th @ 5:00pm to close out the semester. Make sure to put the date in your calendars!!

Orchids are coming to Bulber! The Calcasieu Orchid Society Sale and Show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, in Bulber Auditorium, noon to 6 p.m. This year’s theme is “A French Garden of Orchids.” The celebration continues when the Lake Charles Symphony presents Orchid-Stra on Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. in Bulber Auditorium. We’ll be performing stunning works by Benjamin Britten, Claudio Monteverdi, Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, Elaine Hagenberg, Giovanni Palestrina, Morten Lauridsen, Marques Garrett, and even a piece by our very own Professor Bill Rose!

An evening of beautiful music, powerful harmonies, and choral storytelling awaits. We can’t wait to share it with you! ⭐️
