I am SO disappointed in my immune system right now. After looking forward to my book signing at Arvida Book Co in Tustin for months, I woke up with the familiar aches and pains of what seems to be the flu. Dang it! If you were planning on attending, the books are still there, you’ll just have to hunt me down to get it signed. But I’m drinking tea out of my special coffee mug. It doesn’t make the disappointment go away, it it is helping my sore throat. Much thanks to my love Aaron M. Rogers for taking such good care of me.

I’m at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art today- a special invite for friends and family. I am LOSING MY MIND with what I’m seeing here. I’ve already been in tears several times today seeing the work of master illustrators up close.
No sharing the images until the museum opens in September though. I can’t wait to share!!
George Lucas is here too!

These Posca pens are so much fun. I’m changing my style. You know I love to draw and I love rhythmic lines so look for things coming from me in the future that show my love for line.
But these will be mixed media paintings - combination of drawing plus some expressive color, which is a lot more free and intuitive. Can’t wait to show you all.
