Beverly Park Kiddieland was an amusement park located at Beverly and La Cienega Boulevards. It boasted a Ferris Wheel, merry-go-round, boat ride, roller coaster, and haunted castle, all the while captivating children from all walks of life into coming back, week after week, for more than 30 years.

It was demolished in 1974 and replaced with the Beverly Center.

Built in 1902, the historic Hollywood Hotel stood as a grand landmark at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. It featured wide porches, lush gardens, and served as an iconic social hub for early film stars and industry figures before its eventual demolition in August 1956.

It is now the location of the Hollywood & Highland Center.

This legendary restaurant was established by Sydney Hoedmaker and opened on July 22, 1947.

The original iteration closed in the early 1950s. Its famous hand-carved wooden booths (featuring whistle-playing pigs) were moved around the corner to Miceli's Italian Restaurant on Las Palmas Avenue, where you can still sit in them today.

British restaurateur Chris Breed lovingly restored the space in 1999, bringing back the ornate ceilings, historic woodwork, and vibrant atmosphere until its final closure during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2021.
