Leland Jacoby Porter of Lake Arthur graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.

Leland will work for the Forensic Laboratory Bureau of the NMDPS following graduation.

Our FFA program is off to a fun start this year! In class, our high school students have had hands on activities covering the FFA Emblem and FFA Official dress. Today, our chapter officers attended Chapter Officer Leadership Training in Hagerman to learn leadership skills to bring back to the rest of the school. We are so proud of our students for representing Lake Arthur so well! Thank you Mrs. England for all you do for our kids!
