Welcome to Elmhurst Academy!

For quite some time, we’ve been quietly working on something very special. We’re so excited to finally share it with you!!

Many years ago, this building was home to the original Elmhurst Elementary School. It holds so much history within its walls. We are honored to give it new life while preserving the charm that has made it such a meaningful part of this community.

Over the coming months, this space will be thoughtfully transformed into a warm, welcoming, and inspiring place where children can learn, grow, and thrive. From beautiful natural light and modern security to enriching learning spaces, every detail is being designed with children and families in mind.

Elmhurst Academy is expected to open in Early Fall 2026 and is now accepting registrations. You can contact us at (570)909-4320 or by email [email protected]

This is only the beginning. We can’t wait to share renovation updates, behind-the-scenes progress, enrollment information, and our Open House announcement in the weeks ahead.

We’re so excited to begin this new chapter and can’t wait to welcome families through our doors.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating all of the amazing dads, grandfathers, and special people in our children’s lives!

A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to join us for our Father’s Day celebrations. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and special moments shared between our children and their loved ones made today truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to our incredible teachers for all of their hard work preparing crafts, activities, treats, and making the day so memorable for our families. Your dedication and creativity helped make today a success!

And don’t forget to wear those stylish hats! We absolutely loved seeing how creative they turned out and all the unique designs everyone came up with.

What a beautiful way to end our week!! 💕

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing moms and special people in our children’s lives. Thank you so much for taking the time to come celebrate with us. Watching the children share their classroom, spend one-on-one time with you, and proudly show off their special crafts truly made for such a meaningful experience.

It was a wonderful few days filled with smiles, laughter, love, and memories we hope you’ll hold onto for a long time.

Until next year… we hope you take a little time this weekend to relax, recharge, and feel celebrated. We know moms never really “turn off,” but we hope you’re reminded of just how loved and appreciated you are.

Jefferson Academy Preschool Families,

Thank you so much for spending your time with us. Being able to share a piece of Mother’s Day with you and your children was truly special.

There’s something so meaningful about slowing down and just being together, in their space, in their world, even if just for a little while. Those moments, the smiles, the hugs, the way they look at you… that’s what it’s all about.

We are so grateful you chose to spend that time with us. It meant more than you know!!

Today was such a special day at our center! We had the honor of welcoming Mayor Paige Cognetti!

She read a story to the children and shared what it means to be a mayor and how she helps our community. The children did such an amazing job asking questions, they learned her favorite color is pink and her favorite animal is a giraffe!

We also talked about our community and all the ways we can help take care of it. Mayor Cognetti shared some of the exciting projects she’s supporting for children, including a soccer Field for younger children, fueling programs, and our local parks.

It was such a wonderful opportunity for our children to connect, learn, and see what it means to be a leader and a helper in our community. We are so proud of how engaged and curious they were!
