On behalf of WWMS, we'd like to send out a HUGE thank you to all of the students and families who joined us for 6th Grade Orientation! We had an incredible turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many of our future Wildcats walking the halls, asking questions, getting familiar with the building, and getting ready for this next big adventure.

We truly appreciate the time you took to be here and, even more, the support you continue to show — not only for your own students, but for WWMS as a whole. That kind of involvement helps make our school community what it is.

If you weren’t able to join us for 6th Grade Orientation, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered!

Posted here are the slides from our presentation so students and families can look through some of the basic information we went over. It’s a great way to get a little sneak peek at life at WWMS!

To our incoming 6th graders: it’s completely normal to be excited, nervous, or a little bit of both! Middle school may seem like a big mountain to climb, but you’ll know the halls, routines, and all those new faces before you know it.

Is it just us... or is summer somehow flying by? ☀️🤔

The first day of school is Thursday, August 27!

We hope everyone is soaking up every last bit of sunshine, sleeping in, and making the most of these summer days... because before we know it, the halls of WWMS will be buzzing again!

While you've been enjoying summer break, our amazing custodial team has been hard at work getting the building looking its best, our office staff has been busy preparing schedules and getting everything organized, and staff across the building are getting excited to welcome everyone back.

A few updates:
6th grade families- Homeroom letters will be mailed out this week and will include additional information about our 6th Grade Orientation. We will also post orientation info here on our page.

7th and 8th Grade Families- While we will not be mailing homeroom letters anymore, there will be a Principal's Email sent out letting everyone know when Gradebook will be available to view homeroom assignments/schedules.

As August approaches, we are hoping to make this page much more active! We'll be sharing important dates, reminders, back-to-school information, community events and everything you need to help your student start the year off strong.

‼️Attention families of our 8th Grade students‼️

Join us as we celebrate our amazing 8th Grade Wildcats at their Moving-Up Ceremony on June 2nd from 9:00–10:30a.m. at the Sharkey Rosetti Stadium! (In the event of poor weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the auditorium.) This special morning will honor all of the hard work, memories, achievements, and friendships that have made this class unforgettable as they prepare to begin their next adventure in high school.

Families are also reminded to complete their student’s “Memory Lane” poster so we can proudly celebrate each and every 8th grader and showcase all of the moments that made their middle school journey so special.

Let’s pack the stadium with Wildcat pride and make this a day to remember! 🖤💛🐾
