This beloved BFS teacher and her family traveled to Margate, NYC, Boston, and Maine, where they enjoyed paddleboarding, swimming, and hiking the beautiful sights of Acadia and surrounding areas. She says they ate too much ice cream and smores, and even tried clam pizza!

"Slowing down with family, trying new foods, and exploring new places gave me the exact reset I needed this summer. I’m heading into the new school year fully recharged, inspired with fresh ideas, and ready to dive in!"

In Camden, Maine, I took my son kneeboarding, with my dad, on the same lake and in the same boat my dad would take me kneeboarding almost 40 years ago. A full circle life moment.

In Edmund Rain Forest, St Lucia, we rode ATVs for the first time in a place I’d never been.

In Sulwald, Switzerland, I discovered new hikes in familiar locations.

“My dog Betsy and I have been enjoying daily long dog walks; I'm reading a lot, including working my way through The Count of Monte Cristo (1200+ pages!!); and I spent a week in Outer Banks, NC, with my family.”
