Teacher for 2 Year Olds Class at LCC Preschool

LCC Preschool is looking for a passionate and experienced teacher to join our team. We are seeking a teacher who is committed to providing a high-quality early childhood education for our 2 year olds.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning and exploration
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel loved and supported
- Build relationships with children and families
- Document children's progress and communicate with families
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed

Qualifications
-12 core ECE units required. BA preferred in early childhood education or a related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching 2 year olds
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current CPR and first aid certification

The first day of school will soon be here! Here are some great tips to get your preschooler ready.
We are proud to be a Quality Start OC school.

As summer ends, children can feel anxious about starting or returning back to school. Because of this, some may need extra support to adjust. Below are some tips to help your child transition back to school;

If possible, visit the school and classroom before the first day. Familiarize your child with the new surroundings to help alleviate any anxiousness they may have.

Read books about starting school. Help relieve first-day jitters by reading stories that talk about the first day of school.

Talk to your child about their feelings about school, friends, teachers, and new activities. Validate the emotions they are experiencing and encourage them to share with you what they are thinking and feeling.

Include a note with your child's snack or lunch. Let them know you are thinking about them.
