Hitters, stop letting your energy leak out of your swing! ⚡

Chopping too much = Tip or Slice it.
No hips = No power. ⚾️

When you chop down at the ball, and Dont extend through,the barrel cuts through the zone too steep. Result? You tip it, pop it up, or slice it foul.
And if those hips don’t clear all the way, you’re leaving power in the tank. Rotation = power. No rotation = weak contact.
Swing through the ball, not at it. Let the hips do the work 💪
Let the upper and lower half sync up for a perfectly flat swing path.

Breaking down the basics we worked on:
• Hurdle Step: Helping her practice reaching her front foot forward and holding a steady, balanced finish.
• PVC Arm Path Drill: Keeping her lower body still so she could focus completely on guiding a straight, consistent arm circle.

She once told me Coach Nelsa Ill work so hard to get 60mph and she did!🥹 through hard work and dedication. Every lesson, every rep, every doubt she pushed through.

Screwball work today for kathleen🌀💪 She’s not leaving the field until that spin is perfect. That’s the mindset!
Spins, misses, adjust, repeat 🔁 Screwball isn’t easy… but neither is quitting. Love this kind of stubborn determination. 🤩

The “bucket spin drill”

Why it works:
The bucket forces you to feel the hand turning around the ball instead of behind it. You get instant feedback without having to throw full speed.

Pro tip: Start close, Master the spin first ,Frustration is normal — screwball spin is the hardest to feel. Once you feel the ball spin consistently, then move back and add the full motion.

Some days she’d leave frustrated, wondering if it was working. But she showed up every week anyway.
