Ambassador Jasmine wishes everyone a wonderful, happy, healthy, peaceful, & filling Thanksgiving! She is Ambassador Journey's 7 months young Great Great Niece & he was her Great Great Uncle. Hugs & Howls!

Miss you so!

With extreme sorrow, I regret to announce Journey unexpectedly passed away peacefully on 08/14/23.

Journey was so blessed to bring smiles, joy and laughter to the hearts of everyone. He loved meeting, getting petted, giving kisses and educating thousands of wonderful people during his lifetime. Everyone that he met, he loved and each one helped him become an amazing educator, ambassador, & very best friend companion.

Journey was perfect, most of the time, just like us! He loved: family (human & canine), children, adults, sunrises, sunsets, walks, traveling, training, toys, playing, shopping, opening presents, camping, snow, hail, beaches, lakes, rivers, boating, fireworks, lightening, mountain top views, doing 180 & 360 zoomies, sage smudging, calmness (NO drama), modeling, crowds, music, howling, & clowning around. He especially wanted to get in the car daily & go places, educating & enjoying new adventures.

One funny thing about him, he preferred fine hotels/resorts w/nice balcony views. He refused to stay @ Motel 6 w/one window & parking lot view. Seriously, I could not drag him into a Motel 6, even if I wanted to, yet he loved sleeping in our tent.

He loved volunteering his time on behalf of Wolf Mountain Sanctuary & advocating for wolves in the wild and those in captivity, but working a “job”, he had to have the right paycheck. He knew the difference between prime rib and t-bone, so if you didn’t have the right paycheck, he wasn’t working – just like us. :)

He loved socializing me (silly me thought I was socializing him), being my physical trainer & meditation pacifier. He was the only one who could keep me in line.

He was most always a gentleman & required Respect, light petting in the direction of his fur – didn’t like his fur getting messed up or rough petting. Loved sharing his toys to play w/you, but don’t “steal” any of his toys. He didn’t want his harness taken off, as he knew that was his ticket to ride! If you crossed a boundary, he’d let you know, by a deep earthly growl or a show of teeth, he was saying NO!

Journey left too soon. I miss absolutely everything about his magic, majestic, charismatic, happy, loving self & will forever cherish our beautiful memories together!

The many amazing people that loved Journey are as devastated as I am. He touched so many lives, so many people. When I talk to people, they cry with me and tell me special things they loved or experienced with Journey. It is truly magical how many people felt something so special from him that changed them forever. I am grateful that he lived up to his name & was able to do that.

Life is so very precious and fragile. Please hug, kiss, cherish, & remind your loved ones that you love them each & every day. XO - Julie

Journey & Malia had a great time at the High Desert Family Expo, on behalf of Wolf Mountain Sanctuary, on 03-25-23. They enjoyed meeting new friends & seeing old friends too!

Journey wishes everyone a fantastic First Day of Spring! He's looking forward to losing his winter coat & getting into his Bikini Coat! 🙂

Journey loves shopping for good food! Today, 3 shoppers asked him to pose for a pic. I realize, "Gee, maybe I should take one to share on his social media". Shopping is normal, so I don't think about pix. Journey bribes me w/his smile, so we buy Butter Pecan ice cream & strawberries for desert tonight! :) All the market cashiers know him & most have cell pix. Not easy shopping w/a handsome gentleman!

Journey is excited Santa Paws is coming to town! He's been a good boy all year & loves opening presents! :) Happy almost Merry Christmas!
