SchoolPower Raising funds for all four Laguna Beach public schools. Visit us at http://www.lbschoolpower.org.

The oldest, non-profit education foundation in Orange County, SchoolPower has raised money for Laguna Beach public schools since 1981. SchoolPower, the Laguna Beach Education Foundation, is governed by a board of parent trustees. Our success depends on a multitude of hard-working volunteers, a part-time and dedicated staff and a generous community. Each year, we fundraise through our Annual Community Campaign and several Events. The money provides the four Laguna Beach public schools—El Morro Elementary, Top of the World Elementary, Thurston Middle School and Laguna Beach High School—with valued educational programs and resources. A percentage of the annual money raised also sustains the SchoolPower Endowment Foundation, which in turn supports the Teacher Grant Program.

Our first meetup is this Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Family Resource Center, where we’ll be joined by Thurston Principal Joe Vidal, LBHS Principal Jason Alleman, and LBUSD Director of Social and Emotional Support Michael Keller. Together, we’ll explore youth sports, competition, pressure and well-being—and how we can create a positive sports environment for our kids.

Can’t make it Thursday? We have two more events this fall, so sign up today and join the conversation!

🌆 A trip to remember! From the New York Philharmonic to Central Park and the Empire State Building, our LBHS Jazz Band experienced the very best of NYC.
