So this next month marks our 25th graduation! We are definitely going to plan a reunion but not sure yet if we should do it later this year or wait until next year due to the pandemic. What do you think? Or maybe we should wait to make the decision?

Reunion Details:

Hi All,

Thanks for purchasing your tickets to our 20th high school reunion, which is this Saturday, October 17th at Shadows in Poughkeepsie located at 176 Rinaldi Blvd, Poughkeepsie, NY.

The reunion begins at 7 pm with unlimited food, dessert, soft drinks, and wine & beer until 9 pm. From 7 – 9 pm there will also be a cash bar for hard drinks. Don't worry about bringing your tickets to Shadows. I'll have a list of everyone that paid and someone will be checking off names. I believe Shadows will be giving us wrist bands for food/drinks so be sure to get your wrist band when you check-in.

Some have asked what happens after 9 pm. The plan is to stay at Shadows the rest of the night. All drinks will be cash/credit after 9 pm. The doors also open to the public at 9 pm, so if you know of folks that really want to come but didn't want to spend the money, let them know they can come at 9 pm. Encourage friends that graduated before and/or after our year to come as well. It would be fun to see as many people as possible.

Some of you have noted that it would be fun to gather outside of the main reunion event, especially to meet each other’s kids and families.

Here are two possibilities:

1. Arlington has a home football playoff game against Ketchum on Friday, October 16th at 7 pm. I am planning on going and hope others will join. We could also meet after the game for some food and drinks at Uno Chicago Grill, 842 Main St, Poughkeepsie, NY.

2. Would anyone be up for hanging out with families and a game of kickball at James Baird State Park on Saturday at 1 pm before the reunion? If so, please respond below.

Now that the Reunion is definitely on, is there interest in getting together the night before the reunion (Friday, October 16th) to watch the Arlington High School Football game. It looks like it would be the 1st playoff game. The time and location are TBA. If anyone knows, please post. UPDATE: We have sold 65 tickets and Shadows has given us the green light to sell up to 100 tickets (previously we were taking up more space so we were selling up to 200 tickets). We will keep selling tickets until we are sold out or up to a week before the Reunion. No tickets will be sold at the door.
