Any comments that are intentionally rude or deride the opinions of others will be removed. Comments will be deleted that contain vulgar or abusive language; pornography; personal attacks of any

kind; offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups or incite violence; election campaigning for a political office or ballot proposition. Comments that violate Facebook’s Terms of Use, are spam, clearly “off topic,” divulge personal student or staff information, or that promote services or products also will be deleted. Please note that in order to protect our students’ privacy, we do not allow people to tag photographs posted on our page. Overlook welcomed our newest learners last week during two fantastic Kindergarten Jumpstart sessions!

While incoming students enjoyed interactive story time, music, and hands-on activities, Ms. Cheung and Principal Wheeler hosted informative parent sessions on Literacy and Math followed by a Q&A session. Students wrapped up the fun with a special snack to take home.

The Summer Kids Baking and Cookie Decorating camp gave kids a hands-on baking experience designed to help the young bakers grow their confidence in the kitchen while creating beautifully themed cookie sets from scratch.

Each week there was a different theme including: Christmas in July, Slumber Party and Harry Potter. Kids had a blast dressing up and making treats that reflected the theme. By the end of the week, campers left with not only a stunning cookie collection, but skills they can continue using!
