Since I’ve left the Early Learning Center, it’s not often that I am on this page but it is with a heavy heart that I come to share some heartbreaking news. On Saturday, Zoey Senghas and her mom Cindi tragically passed away in a house fire. Zoey was a student in the Blue Room from 2015-2018. Zoey had the most infectious smile and fun spirit and her mom was the fiercest advocate. They will both be missed deeply. I can share arrangements when I hear them if you’d like to send condolences to their families. I’ll also link an article in the comments with more information.

Please consider purchasing raffle tickets for the fabulous baskets for the Lorain County ESC Endowment fundraiser. The Endowment Grant is a big part of how we fund our music therapy program, which is so important for our classroom! Winner need not be present to win! Thank you!

Fun announcement! To kick off Teacher/Staff Appreciation week next week, the PTO has arranged for The Sunrise Shasta to be in our parking lot at the ELC on Monday 5/1 from 7 am- 1 pm. The Sunrise Shasta is a mobile coffee & espresso bar from Cawley’s Confections. If you’d like to purchase one of her fabulous beverages, please plan to do so on Monday. Cawley's is always very supportive of the preschool so we would love to see her get tons of business on that day! She even has some fun ELC themed coffee and lotus drinks! Make sure to park in the lot or in the gravel so as not to disrupt the car line during the drop off and pick up times. Thank you!

Connecting For Kids resource fair is next week!

The Lorain County Resource Fair will be returning to Lorain County Community College's Spitzer Conference Center on March 14 from 6-8:00 p.m.

This FREE resource fair features and providers from Lorain County and the surrounding communities, who serve families with children between the ages of birth-22.
