Dr. Giddens’ THS National History Day students are in Washington, DC for the nationals: Oliver Athon, Daniel Kang, Nate Shelton, Gavin Wise (group documentary) and Carolina Morales-Maldonado and Hayden Ray (group exhibit). Thanks in part to donations from Diverse Power, Mike Patton Auto, and the Troup County Historical Society their trips were paid for in full. They arrived in College Park, Maryland on Sunday and have been staying at the University of Maryland dorms since.
