Discovery Cottage

It was a great week for Field Day this week. Great time for fun and fellowship with friends.

Thank you to Troup County School System for planning another great time and inviting us to be a part of “ A Day of Champions”. We had lots of fun and fellowship.

Grandparents Day was so fun for us at the Cottage. It was easy celebrating all of our wonderful grandparents and what they mean to our children and to us.

We went to the Water Treatment Plant today and learned lots of interesting things about the process of making our water in LaGrange purified and ready for consumption. We saw opportunities for future jobs that can allow us to utilize God given talents and glorify Him by working as He designed us to do. We saw how the Creator God made water to provide for His people and all living things.

We celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday. It was fun being able to eat 100 things on a plate at one time. Look at all the smiles! ❤️😀

What great fun and fellowship was all had at our Thanksgiving lunch today. We all have so much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

Community Work Day: we love being the hands and feet……

It was a fun field week with dress up days, cheering on our cougars, and watching our two beautiful Senior girls on the homecoming court. Go Cougars!

We are off to a great school year….

“Special Day for Special People” yesterday was a great success. Thank you to Troup County School System for letting us join in the fun! We competed against ourselves and others and played together well. In the end we were all tired which meant it was a fantastic day!
