Congratulations to Bailey Eden ’24 for being named to the 2026 LaGrange Daily News 20 Under 40! Bailey is a wonderful example of an alumna who has made LaGrange, and LaGrange College, home.

After earning her BBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Bailey joined the College as its Alumni and Philanthropy Coordinator and is now pursuing her master’s degree in higher education. In her role, she brings alumni, students, families and community partners together to reconnect, build relationships and create new opportunities.

Her passion for connection extends beyond campus, too. From her work with local organizations and businesses to her longtime service with Young Life LaGrange, Bailey is helping strengthen the ties that make this community special.

🏈 It’s RED OUT time, Panthers! ❤️

Join us this Saturday, Sept. 5, for the first home football game of the season as the LaGrange College Panthers take on Point University!

Before kickoff, come out to our campus tailgate for an afternoon of food, fellowship, a DJ, and plenty of Panther pride. Bring your family and friends, reconnect with alumni and colleagues, and help us celebrate the start of another exciting season.

🏈 Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. vs. Point University

🌷✈️ Explore the Netherlands & Belgium with LaGrange College!
The 17th season of LaGrange College’s 3D Journeys lecture and travel series is coming up, offering the chance to learn about two fascinating destinations before experiencing them firsthand this summer.
The lecture series begins in January and is free and open to the public. Four faculty experts will be sharing insights into the history, culture, art, and other topics connected to the Netherlands and Belgium.
Want to learn more about the trip? Join us Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Lamar Dodd Art Center for an in-depth look at the itinerary with Steve Hart of Hart Travel Partners. Registration for the trip will open the following week.

Congratulations to Catherine Benefield M’25 on being named to LaGrange Daily News’ 20 Under 40 list! Catherine, a graduate of LaGrange College’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, is putting her passion for mentorship and helping others into action as a school counselor at Bertha Weathersbee Elementary School.

Her story is a wonderful example of what it means to take a LaGrange College education beyond the classroom—and use it to help others see what’s possible for their own futures.

Meet Dr. David Dycus ’05, veterinary orthopedic surgeon and founder of Fusion Veterinary Orthopedics. Today, David is an internationally recognized speaker and author specializing in canine orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation.
But his journey started at LC, where small classes, close relationships with professors and a liberal arts education helped prepare him for veterinary school—and for a career built on expertise, curiosity and compassion.
David describes his LC experience in one word: Preparation.
