The faculty and administration at LHS is excited to celebrate the graduation and accomplishments of the class of 2026 at Commencement Exercises tomorrow. Congratulations, again, to our Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Distinguished Honor Graduates, and Honor Graduates. Due to a clerical error, LaKevin Appleby, Hayden Arrington, Nina Baker, Karen Barrientos, and Kelsey Burks were left off of the DHS list in our local media publications. We apologize for the error and are looking forward to our big celebration tomorrow.

GRADUATION CEREMONY
LaGrange High School graduation ceremonies will continue to be held at Callaway Stadium, weather permitting.

All graduates should report to Callaway Stadium by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Graduates are reminded to carefully review the dress code expectations discussed during graduation practice on Friday. Please do not forget your cap and gown along with any approved graduation regalia distributed during Honors Night. No outside or non-approved items will be permitted during the graduation ceremony.

RAIN PLAN
In the event of inclement weather, LaGrange High School administration will closely monitor weather conditions throughout Saturday morning. If weather conditions impact the ceremony, graduation may either:
• Be delayed to a later outdoor start time, or
• Be moved indoors to the LaGrange High School gymnasium.

If graduation remains outdoors, the latest possible delayed start time would be 10:00 a.m. due to scheduling considerations with Callaway High School’s graduation ceremony later that afternoon.

A final decision regarding outdoor graduation, delayed start time, or moving the ceremony indoors will be made no later than 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Finalized time and location will be announced by 6 am Saturday morning.

INDOOR GRADUATION INFORMATION
If graduation ceremonies are moved indoors, the ceremony will take place in the LaGrange High School gymnasium on Highland Street at 9:30 a.m. Doors will open for guests at 8:30 a.m.

Because of limited seating capacity inside the gym, each graduate will receive FOUR ORANGE RAIN tickets for guests. If graduation is moved indoors, the original 10 tickets and any additional ticket requests will NOT be honored.

Additional indoor graduation information:
• Seating is limited and only guests with tickets will be admitted.
• Handicap parking will be available near the gymnasium.
• Highland Street in front of the gym will be closed to traffic.
• Parents and guests will not be allowed on the gym floor following the ceremony due to space and safety concerns.
• Families will be asked to exit the facility promptly after the ceremony unless severe weather conditions require sheltering inside.
