Mrs. Bulloch's Forensic Science classes had the opportunity to work with Detective and Officer Hackett as students put the investigative process into action. Students worked through a mock crime scene where they learned how to properly document the scene, identify and mark evidence, collect evidence, and evaluate information just as investigators would at an actual crime scene.
Thank you to both Detective and Officer Hackett for taking the time to teach real-world experiences to our classes.

Our Accelerated US History students recently took a creative trip back in time with the Colonial Regions Happy Meal Project!
Working in teams, students designed their own Colonial Happy Meal Boxes representing the Chesapeake, New England, Middle, or Southern Colonies. But there’s much more to this project than creativity and colorful designs!
🔎 Students became historians as they investigated:
🌎 How geography shaped colonial life
💰 How economies developed
👩‍🌾 How labor systems changed
🏛️ How colonial governments worked
🤝 Relationships between colonists and Native peoples
⛪ Religion, culture, and immigration
👤 Important people who shaped colonial development
Most importantly, students used historical evidence to make an argument about WHY the colonies developed differently.
This hands-on project gave students the opportunity to research, collaborate, think critically, and communicate historical ideas in a creative way—all while strengthening the skills they need for success in AP U.S. History, which they will take next semester. 🇺🇸
