I am asking for your help through SIFAT for the people of Ecuador. COVID-19 has affected the already poor country in significant ways. According to Dr. Roberto Contreras, 1 of 4 children under 5 is chronically malnourished and “…only 17% of the economically active population has a job that meets the minimum legal requirements.” I have been to Ecuador twice and served with Dr. Roberto. Although I know that many countries are struggling, I know him, and I know I can actually provide help to these people through a person who is there and the local pastors he works with.

I have been blessed to not lose any income during COVID, thus I am going to donate my $600 stimulus payment to SIFAT to be used by Dr. Roberto to provide food, vitamins, and medicine to Ecuadorians.
