Hillcrest Elementary School

This week, our school pet, Humphrey, is still wandering around the building. We got pictures of him with Mrs. Snyder's and Mrs. Stewart's classes. He wrote in his journal about all the fun he had with these new friends, but he says he is exhausted from traveling all over the school. It was all hands on deck with Mrs. Crystal and he even needed a sip of her drink for a pick-me-up! Thank you to these sweet friends for giving Humphrey lots of snuggles!

Humphrey, our One School One Book pet, visited 5th grade last Friday to celebrate the end of his book THE WORLD ACCORDING TO HUMPHREY by Betty G. Birney. He helped his new friends with their vocabulary and even got in on a fun escape room activity. Later he attended a celebration in his honor! Humphrey thinks his 5th grade friends are the Best! Best! Best! And Mrs. Bilbo's class is so much fun!!
