Our platforms are designed to equip our community with the vision, motivation, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to lead a successful life. West Georgia Star applies a strengths-based, person-centered approach to services and engages family, as permitted and appropriate, throughout the family self-sufficiency training process. The program operates 10 hours per day, 5 days a week, and on the weekend as needed. All services listed are provided by West Georgia Star or a contractual partnership with an existing agency. The main goal of the program is to help families get good jobs and earn enough money so they do not need public assistance.
