As we close out this year, I find myself reflecting on the journey that has brought me here, a journey filled with unexpected challenges and important lessons. The loss of Supper at Home Y’all—a business I poured my heart and soul into—was one of the hardest moments of this year. The divorce, the challenges of maintaining the business, and the changes in my personal life all brought immense pressure, but also taught me a great deal about resilience, strength, and the power of community.

The support from our loyal customers, friends, and neighbors in LaGrange, GA, was something I will never forget. Supper at Home Y’all was more than just a place that served cakes and casseroles; it was a gathering spot, a place of comfort, and a reflection of my passion for bringing people together over good food. Losing it was a difficult decision, but one that also made me reflect on what I’ve learned in running a business and what matters most moving forward.

This year, I’ve learned how to manage the challenges of life, from handling finances and household tasks on my own to rediscovering personal joys and passions. Pottery has brought me a sense of peace, and stepping into a bo***ir photoshoot—something I’ve always wanted to do—was a personal victory. These experiences have taught me the importance of embracing new chapters, even when the path ahead isn’t clear.

As I look to the future, I’m grateful for the lessons learned and for the opportunity to rebuild, to refocus, and to continue growing—both personally and professionally. While Supper at Home Y’all may no longer be a part of my daily life, the connections I made through the business will always be part of my journey, and I carry those memories forward as I step into the next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who supported Supper at Home Y’all. Your kindness, your business, and your encouragement will always mean the world to me. I’m excited to see what the future holds and look forward to continuing to share my story with all of you.

Today, on the summer solstice—the longest day of the year and a time that symbolizes light, growth, and new beginnings—we mark the last day of business for our beloved cake and casserole shop.

After many meaningful years, it’s time to close this chapter. This shop has been more than a business; it’s been a part of my heart, my story, and my roots. LaGrange, you’ve been more than a home—you’ve been the soul of this journey. Your warmth, support, and love have carried me through seasons of both challenge and joy.

As the sun sets today, I carry with me deep gratitude and sweet memories, and I look ahead with hope to the path that lies ahead.
